Review & Description

Trey's wife, his wife's shrink and his attorney are shot dead as his ex-girlfriend Robin Ironside disappears from an ICU ward. All of them knew about Ionshaker - a cutting edge nuclear arming/disarming software.

Brett - the lead FBI detective pursuing Trey - the sole murder suspect is soon framed for two new murders and becomes a fugitive just like Trey, when he learns about Al Fakir - a suspected Al Qaeda off shoot that has stolen Ionshaker.

The two start working together and discover that the FBI director - Guy Jorgo made a deal with Al Fakir to provide them with Ionshaker in exchange for human heart for his dying daughter, and it therefore dawns to Trey and Brett that they must find a way of rescuing a Kenyan girl from whom the heart is to be harvested from, but at the same time provide an alternative heart without spooking Al Fakir.

However, someone else shortchanged the FBI director because a microchip necessary for Ionshaker to function is missing - rendering the software useless unless Al Fakir get's the creator of Ionshaker - Robin Ironside, Trey's ex-girlfriend. But things get out of hand when Al Fakir realizes that Trey and Brett are on to Guy Jorgo, and subsequently the FBI director is promptly killed as Robin is kidnapped to recreate the important microchip. But instead of recreating it, she corrupts the entire software, gravely risking her life in the process.

No One knows what Al Fakir intends to use Ionshaker for, but every one knows, the country that possesses Ionshaker will control anything nuclear from nuclear warheads to nuclear power-generating plants at the click of a button.

But as the U.S president puts more pressure on tracking the software as well as exposing the culprits, Al Fakir leaks Ionshaker's disappearance to the media blaming the president for trying to cover it up which stirs a great revolt in cabinet and a general panic throughout the country. Now the presidents job is on the line.

Trey needs to rescue Robin Ironside, Brett needs to clear his name, the president needs to recover Ionshaker and Al Fakir needs to get the Ionshaker working again and there's simply no time. Before any of that can be accomplished, many will die, many scandals will be revealed, the security of the country will be jeopardized, and things will get really ugly.
